We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven Business Development/ Lead Generation Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, researching, and gathering specific contact information for key decision-makers within corporate entities across various industries. Your primary focus will be to find and engage individuals such as Compliance Officers, General Counsel, Operations Managers, and Tax Professionals who may be interested in our Compliance Software platform. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting outreach to these contacts, promoting our platform, and coordinating product demos.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation & Data Collection:
- Research and identify key decision-makers within organizations, particularly in compliance, legal, operations, and tax departments, using tools like RocketReach, LinkedIn, and other research platforms.
- Gather relevant contact information, including emails, phone numbers, job titles, and more, and populate the company’s CRM system with accurate and up-to-date details for future outreach efforts.
Outreach Campaigns:
- Craft and send personalized email outreach to targeted contacts to introduce our Compliance Software platform, highlighting its value propositions and the benefits it can provide.
- Engage potential leads through targeted messaging to spark interest in scheduling a demo or continuing the conversation about the product.
CRM Management:
- Ensure that all gathered contact details are accurately logged and organized within the CRM system to support effective follow-up communication and future outreach.
- Regularly update and maintain CRM records to track outreach progress, responses, and demo appointments, ensuring that qualified leads are passed on to the appropriate sales teams.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on target industries and personas, and provide insights on potential leads for targeted campaigns.
- Collaborate with Account Executives or Sales Managers to ensure that qualified leads are seamlessly handed off for further engagement and follow-up.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track key outreach metrics such as open rates, response rates, and conversion rates to continuously refine lead generation strategies.
- Report regularly on performance and provide updates to management regarding outreach progress, demo appointments, and lead quality.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, ideally within the software or compliance industry.
- Proficiency in using tools like LinkedIn, RocketReach, and other lead-generation platforms.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and personalized email outreach.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with compliance software, legal, tax, or operations functions within organizations is a plus, but not required.
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
