Marketing Assistant Canadian Market

Gold Collagen Marketing Assistant Canada - will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and performance of Gold Collagen in Canada. Reporting to the North American Marketing Team, the Assistant will focus on developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to boost brand awareness and accelerate sales.

This role will work closely with the North American Marketing Team in the UK to implement local market strategies that support success in existing retail channels, such as Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, and The Real Canadian Superstore, while also driving new customer acquisition.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in French and English, and comfortable with Marketing in Quebec.

This position is fully remote with occasional travels agreed in advance.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Marketing Plans

o Create and execute localized marketing and communication strategies that align with sales goals, market insights, and consumer needs.

o Manage budgets and sales forecasts, ensuring that marketing efforts align with both financial and strategic targets.

2. Campaign Management & Execution

o Lead the creation and implementation of marketing materials, including in-store, digital, media assets, ensuring consistency with global and regional strategies.

o Collaborate with internal teams to localize and deliver effective promotional campaigns that resonate with the Canadian market.

3. In-Store Merchandising & Promotions

o Develop and execute promotional and in-store merchandising plans in collaboration with the sales team, analysing performance to ensure successful execution.

o Oversee the production and implementation of in-store materials while monitoring competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge.

4. Performance Analysis & Optimization

o Continuously track and evaluate campaign effectiveness, recommending improvements to drive sales growth and optimize marketing spend.

o Provide regular updates on sales performance and market insights to guide future marketing strategies.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

o Act as the primary liaison between sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

o Support participation in trade shows and manage relationships with local agencies and partners to maximize exposure.

  • Sales Growth: Achieve sales growth across key provinces (Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver).
  • Point of Sale Expansion: Support the Norrizon sales team in increasing points of sale across Canada.
  • Promotional Campaign Success: Execute sustainable in-store promotions that maximize sales.
  • Training Sessions: Organize and deliver training sessions for store teams, pharmacies, and B2B partners.
  • Marketing ROI: Develop communication campaigns that drive a strong return on marketing investment.
  • Event Success: Plan and execute events, trade shows, and fairs to boost brand awareness and sales.
