Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist for a part-time remote position available to Michigan residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and verify the accuracy of financial, insurance, and demographic information for patients
• Obtain and confirm insurance eligibility, benefit information, and compliance with insurance requirements
• Resolve issues related to primary insurance and coordination of benefits (COB) information

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of experience in healthcare insurance eligibility, verification, or billing
• Knowledge of various insurance coverage and COB rules
• Experience with insurance payor systems
• EPIC training/experience and ICD-10 medical terminology experience preferred
