Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist who will review, analyze, and validate diagnostic and procedural codes for reimbursement and billing purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate diagnostic and procedural codes for accuracy
• Abstract information from electronic health records to support various projects
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and reimbursement policies

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• Billing or coding experience preferred
• Some college or coursework in relevant fields preferred
• Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or similar required
• Proficient in ICD-10 CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding
