Kennedy Valve Co. is a gray and ductile iron foundry and computerized machining and assembly operation. We supply fire hydrants and valves to the water works and fire suppression industries. We have been manufacturing these products in Elmira, New York, for over 125 years. SUMMARY
Kennedy Valve is currently seeking a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of 2nd shift Finishing Supervisor. This position reports to the Value Stream Manager. Top level priority of the Finishing Supervisor is to lead their team by managing their own words and behaviors, setting an example that engages employees. The Finishing Supervisor works closely with the VSM to direct the day-to-day activities of up to 20 hourly employees.
Salary Range:$73,238-$107,703

Verbal and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to handle uncertainty, are pivotal to success in this role.
