Marvin Love and Associates is seeking a talented and experienced Director of Catering to join our team within the prestigious Marriott portfolio. As a Director of Catering, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the catering operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage all catering events, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to Marriott's service standards.
- Develop and implement catering sales strategies to exceed revenue targets while maintaining budgetary guidelines.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to design and execute innovative food and beverage offerings that delight guests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized service and addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Supervise and train catering staff to deliver exceptional service and ensure operations run smoothly.
- Monitor event outcomes and customer feedback to continuously improve catering offerings.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of catering management experience, preferably in a hotel or high-paced catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends and presentation standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on client relationship management.
- Proven ability to lead a team and foster a positive working environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in event management software is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
- annual salary of $80,000. + 40% incentive/bonus
