This internship is for college students receiving college credit for the internship. (We do not offer an hourly wage.) Please check with your school for all related requirements. Again, this internship is for currently enrolled students who are receiving college credit.

This is an internship working with social media management, public relations, event production, communications, marketing, community management and more. Your responsibilities may include: organizing event schedules, research, writing, film production, managing attendees, managing communication, film screening, speakers management, working with sponsors & partners, graphic design, web admin, social media, etc.

We seek a gifted communicator, organizer and team player who can help with building community and managing events that serve a variety of members, including filmmakers, artists, and media professionals.

Requirements: Be a nice person, able to write in clear & correct English, flexible, patient and talented. Also, be responsible, diplomatic, honest, well spoken, and resourceful. You must be proficient in MS Word, in Google Docs, and be a creative person at heart. [Enjoy writing, drawing, film/video, dance, music, etc.] Be able to efficiently learn new techniques and processes.

Preferred: a Knowledge of Graphic Design, Social Media, Video Production, and/or Adobe products (Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, etc) are a plus. Being physically located in the greater D.C. Metro Area is a major plus. For select candidates, we may consider fully remote participation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $1.00 per week

Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
