Position Overview 

This role will start as a part-time that will lead into a full-time position.

The Logistics Operator/Material Handler is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efficient and timely movement of goods and materials within a company’s supply chain. This role involves managing the movement of products from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery, and optimizing logistics processes. The Logistics Operator/Material Handler will work closely with other departments, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving, to ensure smooth operations.

• Monitor stock levels and track inventory movements
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy
• Plan and schedule deliveries, track shipments
• Identify any defects or deviations from quality standards and initiate corrective actions
• Conduct regular quality inspections and tests
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and proper handling of goods
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
• Other duties within the scope of the position may be assigned from time to time

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred
• Knowledge of Database Management software and Microsoft Office
• Forklift License is required
• Open to international travel
• Familiarity with quality control processes, tools, and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot potential issues
• Frequently lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
• Collaborative and organized
