Marketing Manager (APAC)

Maker Lab supports clients across the technology, entertainment, financial services, and payments industries. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Manager to support our amazing client in the technology industry.
As a Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the client’s APAC marketing initiatives and collaborating with their Global Marketing team to develop and implement innovative localised strategies across various channels.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop and execute impactful APAC programmes focused on building brand awareness, driving business growth, and achieving key objectives across diverse marketing channels. Role:
- Oversee the management of marketing calendars, asset repositories, and campaign tracking systems to ensure efficient workflow.
- Liaise with external vendors, freelancers, and partner agencies to support various marketing projects.
- Contribute to the development of performance reports and marketing dashboards to monitor progress and identify key insights.
- Assist with essential administrative tasks, including processing invoices and managing budget documentation.
- Support the complete lifecycle of campaign development and execution, from initial brief creation and presentation development to landing page mock-ups and performance reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with brand, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising teams to ensure cohesive campaign delivery.
- Identify and explore opportunities for developing region-specific campaigns and content initiatives, including close collaboration with localisation teams.
- Partner with our APAC social media agency and the global social team to shape social media strategies (including local content, engagement activities, and influencer collaborations) tailored for APAC markets and platforms.
- Support the promotional activities and content coverage for the client's regional events and webinars.
- Manage the relationship with the Meltwater social listening platform, including reporting and analysis.
- Take ownership of preparing and presenting social media quarterly business reviews (QBRs) in collaboration with the agency.
- Develop and manage event registration platforms and processes for regional events.
- Create and implement email communication sequences for both pre-and post-event engagement.
- Work with global teams to adapt overarching marketing strategies for effective implementation within APAC markets.
You:
- 5+ years of marketing management experience, with a strong focus on campaign execution, event coordination, and/or social media engagement – ideally within a regional or global context.
- In-depth understanding of marketing dynamics across APAC markets, including local nuances, platform preferences, and audience behaviours.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, from initial brief development through to comprehensive performance reporting.
- Proven experience in managing and collaborating effectively with external agencies, freelancers, and internal cross-functional teams (e.g., creative, paid media, social media, events).
- Experience with content creation tools such as Figma or Adobe Suite.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with social media analytics tools.
- Passion for design, content, video production, storytelling and community building.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in Japanese or Korean as a second language to cover projects across APAC.
