A company is looking for a Mainframe / DB2 Support Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor IT infrastructure and applications to ensure efficiency and reliability
  • Create and manage job schedules on various platforms, ensuring job completion and error corrections
  • Provide technical assistance and on-call support for assigned products and services
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Mainframe DB2 Support
  • Proficient in DB2, CICS, JCL, and z/OS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with system monitoring and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to work flexible overnight shifts
