Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • The Designer will create visually compelling designs that align with Dior PCD's brand and marketing objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, proficiency in graphic design software, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their creative skills and experience in beauty-related design projects.
  • Part-time, 3 days per week in the office.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently execute design projects, translating creative briefs into tangible designs for digital projects, including CRM, E-Retail, DTC, Narvar, paid social, and ad hoc asks.
  • Collaborate with the Digital + E-Retail teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet strategic goals and reflect the luxury and elegance of Dior.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance visual communication and brand storytelling.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, A/B testing, and other research to inform design decisions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge, with a focus on beauty and luxury markets.
  • Possess strong skills in visual design, including typography, color theory, layout, and imagery.
  • Contribute to the overall user experience by ensuring designs are intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible.
  • Conduct all other job-related activities.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on beauty-related projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, BeeFree, and Adobe Premiere Pro. Willingness to contribute to new processes and learn new tools.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design, with an emphasis on beauty and luxury aesthetics.
  • Understanding of the full design process, including research, ideation, prototyping, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to clearly communicate design ideas and rationale to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with web design and familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of beauty-related design projects and creative solutions.
  • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
  • No travel required for the role.

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published range of $40-45/hr.
