As a Digital Marketing Summer Intern, you’ll play a key role in shaping the online
presence of our hospitality brands, including Victory Lap, Tiger Lilly, and Daydreamer
Coffee, as well as other exciting new concepts in development. You’ll gain hands-on
experience in digital marketing while working alongside a fast-paced, creative team that’s
redefining hospitality in Austin.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with website updates, landing pages, and content optimizations for hospitality brands.
- Create and manage email campaigns to promote events, specials, and brand storytelling.
- Execute text message marketing strategies to engage customers, drive traffic, and expand our loyalty programs.
- Research keywords, analyze search trends, and implement SEO best practices across websites, Google Business Profiles, and social media content. Optimize website content, menus, and landing pages to improve search visibility while ensuring brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Assist in creating and monitoring digital ad campaigns for the respective hospitality concepts.
- Help strategize and coordinate digital content to enhance brand awareness.
- Work alongside the social media team to track campaign performance and provide insights for optimization on a monthly cadence.
- Experiment with subject lines, ad creatives, and messaging to improve results.
- Monitor and respond to Google and Yelp reviews in a professional and brand-aligned manner. Engage with customers by responding to Instagram DMs and comments. Update Google Business Profiles and Google Analytics as needed to ensure accurate information and performance tracking.
- Assist with special projects and brainstorming innovative marketing ideas.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Passion for the food, beverage, and hospitality industry with an interest in brand marketing.
- Knowledge of email marketing tools (such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Klaviyo).
- Experience with social media platforms and ad management (Meta Ads, Google Ads).
- Understanding of SEO best practices and basic keyword research.
- Strong writing and communication skills—you know how to craft a compelling message.
- Familiarity with website platforms (Wix, Squarespace, or similar).
- Comfortable analyzing marketing metrics and translating them into action.

- Have run A/B testing campaigns before.
- Have worked in a hospitality or food and beverage setting and understand guest engagement.

This paid internship will run from May 2025 to August 2025 with the possibility to continue into the Fall. The internship will be approximately 15-20 hours per week. Pay is $15 per hour.
