Job Description:
The Senior Electrical Engineer plays a key role in a small cross-functional team in a start-up environment developing the next generation Lidar solutions for automotive, industrial and consumer applications. You will participate in defining system level requirements and functions, then translate these requirements to hardware design implementation. You will be responsible for analog, mixed signal, and high-speed digital circuit design and simulation, schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, component selection, prototype bring-up, design validation and design documentation. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across internal functional teams as well as with third party suppliers, partners, and customers. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to think creatively and to operate within a flexible, fast-paced program dedicated to advancing product development. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Hardware Engineering.
