About the Role
The Product Marketing Manager - Research solutions for Lumivero’s portfolio of solutions for academic, consumer and market research, including qualitative data analysis, reference management and student experience. This individual will play a critical role in connecting our research solutions with the needs of our users. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft compelling product messaging, support product launches, and drive growth initiatives.
This role will serve as the bridge between Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales, ensuring that product value and positioning are effectively communicated across all channels and content. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with strong project management skills to lead marketing initiatives and campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities- Product Messaging & Content Creation:
- Develop clear and compelling product messaging that resonates with target audiences, differentiating Lumivero’s tools in the market.
- Lead the development of, and maintain, a library of product content, including website copy, demos and webinars, sales collateral and more.
- Create the positioning and messaging strategy for communications and content in support of product launches and releases.
- Work with creative and content teams to produce engaging visual and written assets that support demand generation, customer engagement, and product education.
Go-To-Market and Product Launch Management:
- Partner with Product, Release Operations, and Marketing teams to support the successful launch of new features and products within the qualitative portfolio.
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including campaign strategy, launch timelines, and deliverable creation.
- Support internal enablement by equipping teams with the right messaging, content, and training to effectively communicate product value.
User Experience & Growth Initiatives:
- Work closely with Product Management to analyze the customer lifecycle and identify opportunities to improve the in-platform user experience.
- Conduct data-driven reviews to uncover gaps in the user journey, focusing on growth opportunities through acquisition, expansion, and retention strategies.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to collect feedback, identify recurring challenges, and develop resources to improve user outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the voice of the qualitative product user within internal teams, ensuring their needs are addressed in product development and marketing strategies.
- Support Demand Generation and Campaign Marketing teams with product-focused messaging for lead acquisition and engagement campaigns.
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to ensure accurate, up-to-date technical documentation and messaging.
Required Skills and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in B2B product marketing or technical content marketing, preferably within SaaS or data analytics.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content.
- Experience working directly with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to align strategies and deliverables.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with qualitative research, data analytics, or statistical software tools is a strong plus.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in user behavior analysis, A/B testing, and growth-focused initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience- Experience in the research, education, or data analytics industry.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
- Hands-on experience with qualitative tools and platforms (eg.NVivo, Citavi, Tevera, etc).
Benefits- Annual base salary is $130,000 - $150,000, depending on qualifications.
