The Senior People Partner – APAC is a strategic HR leadership role responsible for driving the people agenda across LMAX Group's operations in the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Singapore, this role will support employees in Singapore, New Zealand, Tokyo, China, and remote locations across APAC. The Senior People Partner will work closely with regional leaders and the global People team to deliver impactful people solutions aligned with LMAX Group's business strategy.
This position requires a seasoned HR professional with experience working in fast-paced, fintech environments, preferably within FX or financial services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of regional employment laws, cultural nuances, and best practices across APAC markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to APAC leaders, providing guidance on people strategy, organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Partner with managers across APAC to drive key people initiatives, including performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions, proactively managing risk and addressing any employment-related challenges.
- Work closely with the global People team to align regional HR practices with LMAX Group's overall people strategy.
- Support recruitment efforts in APAC, partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to attract top talent and manage onboarding processes.
- Lead employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent handling in line with company policies and local legislation.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the APAC region.
- Analyse people metrics and data to inform decision-making and provide insights to senior leadership.
- Manage organizational change and lead initiatives to foster a high-performance culture.

Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in a senior HR business partnering role, ideally within fintech, financial services, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and best practices across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
- Experience partnering with leadership teams in a multi-country, matrixed environment.
- Proven ability to handle complex employee relations issues with discretion and sound judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across cultures and geographies.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using people data to drive decision-making.
- Knowledge of the FX or fintech sector is highly desirable.
