Heartworks/Building Blocks/ Little Sprouts – Babilou Family US is a leading provider of high-quality early childhood education, dedicated to nurturing young minds in a safe, engaging, and enriching environment. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our enrollment growth strategy, drive lead generation, and strengthen community partnerships. This role is responsible for overseeing the sales team, optimizing the enrollment process, and developing innovative strategies to attract new families to our award-winning early education and child care in the Northeast US MA, NH, CT and VT. This role is hybrid requiring up to 3 days a week in person at our Lawrence, MA office space.
Responsibilities; Sales & Enrollment Strategy- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed enrollment goals across all locations.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth.
- Partner with marketing to create targeted campaigns that drive family engagement and increase enrollment.
Responsibilities; Lead Generation & Relationship Management- Build and nurture relationships with prospective families, ensuring a seamless customer journey from inquiry to enrollment.
- Develop partnerships with community organizations, local businesses, and parent groups to enhance brand awareness and referral opportunities.
- Oversee CRM management, ensuring all leads are effectively tracked and converted.
Responsibilities; Team Leadership & Performance Management- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing training, motivation, and performance feedback.
- Set clear KPIs for the sales team and track progress using data-driven insights.
- Foster a culture of customer-centric selling, ensuring a consultative approach to helping families find the right educational fit.
Responsibilities; Operational Excellence & Collaboration- Work closely with center directors and operational teams to align sales efforts with capacity planning and program availability.
- Optimize the enrollment process to reduce friction and improve conversion rates.
- Monitor and report on key sales metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications & Skills- 5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in education, childcare, retail, or multi-location service industries.
- Is able to work at least a full-time, 40-hour a week schedule, sometimes off-hours as the business requires (i.e., deadlines, networking events, conferences, business dinners, etc.).
- Is able to sit for long periods of time at a computer in a primarily sedentary position; manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Travel may be required (less than 40% of time);
- Proven track record of driving enrollment growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of the needs of families.
