Content Moderator

Linqia is an innovative start-up in the growing influencer marketing industry. Located in downtown San Francisco, you’ll be working with others who are passionate about marketing in a fun, fast-paced and data-driven environment.

At Linqia, we deliver guaranteed influencer marketing results for our clients, by working with some of the world’s largest brands including Danone, AB InBev, Kimberly-Clark, Unilever, and Walmart. Our AI-driven platform and team of experts are leading the transformation of influencer marketing into a scalable media channel. The Linqia platform also serves as a social content lab, where marketers can organically test and amplify the best performing influencer content to drive greater ROI from their paid, owned and earned media.

We value intelligence, recognize talent and have instilled a culture that supports career development and growth for our employees. We thrive on innovation and accountability, with a customer first attitude that adds true value to everything we touch. Our team members are smart, hard-working, have integrity and love to have fun as we play to win.

The Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, digital-savvy Content Moderator to join our Creator Team as a full-time contractor. This role will support our team in both sourcing and vetting influencers and content for brand safety and moderating social media comments on live campaigns.

As the first line of quality control, you’ll assess creator content and presence for potential red flags, maintain accurate records, and work closely with the Creator Partnerships and Campaign Strategy teams to identify the best-fit talent for our brand partners across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Responsibilities

  • Vet creators and their content (full digital footprint, posts, stories, bios, usernames, past sponsorships, etc.) to assess alignment with brand guidelines and safety standards

  • Identify brand safety risks, including but not limited to controversial or explicit content, inappropriate imagery, political or sensitive topics, and conflicting brand affiliations

  • Categorize and tag creators in Linqia’s system based on content type, tone, audience, and risk level

  • Support creator sourcing by conducting initial research based on campaign briefs and client-specific criteria

  • Document all creator vetting decisions with clear rationale to support internal review and cross-functional use

  • Monitor creator social profiles post-vetting to flag any emerging risks or changes

  • Moderate comments on sponsored influencer posts, flagging or escalating anything offensive, off-brand, or inappropriate

  • Summarize comment sentiment and trends to help inform campaign learnings

  • Collaborate with U.S.-based Creator Managers and Campaign Strategists to align on guidelines and escalate edge cases

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in content moderation, community management, influencer marketing, or digital media

  • Deep familiarity with social media platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube

  • Strong judgment and attention to detail—especially when reviewing subjective content

  • Experience moderating user-generated content or online communities a plus

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving brand guidelines

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)

  • Based in Colombia with reliable internet and availability during standard U.S. PST business hours
