Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physical Therapy Utilization Review Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews medical records and treatment plans to ensure compliance with guidelines and optimize recovery
• Determines medical necessity for physical therapy services and develops action plans for providers
• Communicates with providers about therapy protocols and participates in quality assurance activities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred
• Completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) required
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist required
• Eight years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation regulations and current trends in physical therapy
