Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Medical Director, responsible for overseeing the Utilization Management Program and performing peer reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of cost-effective quality care incorporating recovery and person-centered services
• Oversee utilization management protocols and guidelines in collaboration with clinical leadership
• Provide clinical oversight and maintain the integrity of the program through timely peer reviews and consultations

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
• Current unrestricted physician license
• Board certified in Psychiatry
• Understanding of clinical principles related to engagement, empowerment, and recovery
• Knowledge of post-acute care planning and case management
