Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analytics & Revenue Reporting Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who can dedicate 6 to 8 hours per day during the first week of each month to support Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and subscription-based reporting efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of SaaS metrics, revenue data analytics, and business intelligence tools. You will play a key role in tracking, analyzing, and reporting critical revenue data that supports strategic decisions across finance, sales, and growth teams.

• Monitor and report on ARR metrics including new, upgrade, downgrade, and churned ARR.
• Build and maintain dashboards using Looker and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) to present key metrics and trends clearly.
• Perform data quality checks and identify discrepancies across systems (e.g., CRM, billing, ERP).
• Assist in creating and maintaining forecasting models and scenario analyses related to revenue growth and churn.
• Validate data consistency across platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, Stripe, and BigQuery.
• Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understand the flow of data from source systems to reporting tools, collaborating with data teams to ensure accuracy.
• Work closely with finance, sales, and strategy teams to align on revenue metrics, definitions, and reporting cadence.

• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
• Experience building data dashboards and reports in Looker or similar BI tools
• Strong grasp of SQL and ability to query data from data warehouses such as BigQuery
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and understanding of how data flows from transactional systems to analytics platforms
• Experience validating and reconciling data from multiple platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Stripe, BigQuery)
• Understanding of data warehousing, data transformation, and data modeling
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and key subscription-based metrics: ARR, MRR, Churn, ARPU, LTV, CAC, Gross/Net Revenue Retention
• Familiarity with billing systems like Stripe and ERP systems like NetSuite
• Business acumen around how revenue metrics impact GTM strategy, customer lifecycle, and financial planning
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to QA and debug issues in reporting outputs and upstream data sources
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex data stories for cross-functional stakeholders
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
