Lead Power Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Power Systems Engineer 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed electrical analysis utilizing time domain techniques to evaluate system performance and identify potential issues
• Perform complex calculations related to Transient Over-Voltage (TOV), Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV), Switching Studies, and Insulation Coordination
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize system performance and mitigate risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power/Power Systems) with sufficient industry experience, or a Master's/PhD preferred
• 12 or more years of experience in time domain analysis of power systems
• Proficiency in software tools such as PSCAD or EMTP-RV for complex electrical calculations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
