A company is looking for a Lead Actuary I, Actuarial Research.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the actuarial indication process by identifying improvement opportunities and delivering solutions
• Increase operational efficiency by converting existing calculations into scalable Python code
• Collaborate with various teams to align core assumptions and ensure consistent profitability assessments

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry with 3+ years in pricing/ratemaking
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python
• Successful completion of 5 actuarial exams
• Demonstrated ownership mentality with initiative in prioritizing impactful work
• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) preferred but not required
