Av Field Engineer/ Installer (Secret Cleared)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Field Engineer with strong hands-on installation experience and proficiency in control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or AMX. This role is responsible for the on-site implementation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of integrated AV systems across a variety of environments, including corporate offices, education facilities, and commercial spaces. Active Secret clearance or higher required, involves local travel around DC metro area.

• Perform field installation, configuration, and commissioning of AV systems including displays, projectors, audio systems, video conferencing, control systems, and networking components.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX).
• Interpret AV system designs, CAD drawings, schematics, and scope-of-work documentation.
• Conduct site surveys and collaborate with project managers, system designers, and clients to ensure successful system integration.
• Perform quality assurance testing and system validation to ensure performance aligns with project specifications.
• Provide client training and system documentation handover.
• Identify and resolve issues during and after installation, offering technical support when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Travel to client sites as required
