Store Manager- LV

Las Vegas Petroleum is a rapidly growing operator of travel centers, consisting of gas stations, convenience stores and restaurants. With 13 Conoco-branded C&G assets in the Las Vegas Metro area, and the ability to purchase unbranded fuel through partnerships with Phillips 66, Gulf, Sunoco, 76, and Conoco, we supply over one million gallons of fuel per month to 32 locations. As we expand across the country, we are building out our corporate team to support this growth, ensuring low prices and high service at all of our locations.

Job Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the convenience store. This includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, handling inventory, maintaining store cleanliness, and driving sales to meet or exceed company goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Store Operations Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
    • Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
    • Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, daily reports, and store security.
    • Monitor and maintain product displays, stock levels, and inventory.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Lead by example in providing excellent customer service.
    • Resolve customer complaints and ensure that customers are satisfied with their experience.
    • Promote a positive store atmosphere, making sure the team is engaging and professional.
  3. Staff Management:
    • Supervise, train, and motivate store employees.

    • Minimize shrinkage and manage the prevention of theft or loss.
  6. Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure the store adheres to health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food handling requirements.
    • Maintain a safe environment for both customers and employees.
    • Keep up-to-date with safety protocols and ensure staff is trained accordingly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar supervisory role in retail or convenience store settings.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and staff effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and financial principles.
