Junior Sales Support Specialist | Skillab

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically-minded Junior Sales Support Specialist to support our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for compiling, analysing, and reporting on sales data to help drive informed business decisions. 

Your work will directly support the Head of Sales and other senior leaders by providing insights that enhance sales strategies and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Data Management: Collect, organise, and maintain accurate sales data from various sources. Ensure data integrity and reliability for reporting purposes.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Develop and generate regular sales reports, dashboards, and presentations. Analyse sales performance metrics, trends, and patterns to provide actionable insights to the sales leadership team.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key sales performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, identifying areas of improvement and potential opportunities. Present findings to the Head of Sales and other stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Recommendations: Provide data-driven recommendations to optimise sales processes, strategies, and resource allocation. Support the decision-making process by interpreting complex data sets.
  • CRM Management: Oversee the sales team’s use of CRM software, ensuring that all data is up-to-date, accurate, and effectively utilised for reporting purposes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand their data needs and provide the necessary tools and reports to help them achieve their targets.
  • Sales Forecasting: Assist in sales forecasting efforts by analysing historical data and market trends to predict future sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales support, data analysis, or reporting role, ideally within a sales environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field would be an advantage.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data management and reporting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems, data visualization tools, and Excel. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and propose practical solutions to enhance sales performance.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
