Langford & Low Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to be based from their Portland, ME office and work on job sites in Central and Southern Maine. 


Requirements of the Senior Superintendent:
  • 10 years of experience supervising and coordinating all phases of field operations in commercial construction with a focus in healthcare or life science industries.
  • A college or technical school degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Business is desired but not required.
  • Previous experience running complex projects in the range of $10M-$25M.
  • Experience utilizing project and construction management software including MS Project and Procore.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to job sites in Central and Southern Maine.

Responsibilities of the Senior Superintendent:
  • Coordination and supervision of all work on site to ensure project is completed on schedule, within budget and in accordance with quality expectations.
  • Maintain site safety including coordination with in-house Safety Officer.
  • Development of detailed project schedule and maintain associated project documentation.
  • Daily coordination of and communication with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Management of field changes including coordination with Project Manager to ensure all changes requiring budget adjustments are handled expeditiously.
  • Work with urgency and integrity in a team environment.  Build and maintain trust with all team members.
