KDA is currently seeking to add a Systems Administrator to our team. Do you enjoy working in a small team environment with great people supporting a high profile Government Customer within the IC? If so, then this role is for you.
We are looking for a Tier 2 System Administrator with a robust background in Windows 10/11 troubleshooting background supporting Microsoft Domain architectures, responding to trouble calls, and building and deploying desktops to customer sites across primarily the WMA area. Some domestic travel is required (generally no more than 6 times a year).
Primary Job Duties
- Support and troubleshoot issues involving desktop applications including the Microsoft Office suite of products (including Outlook), classification management toolsTroubleshoot Windows Server technologies to include file, print, DNS, DFS and DHCP
- Support helpdesk and users with general issues including public key infrastructure, application assistance, network troubleshooting and other items as needed
- Build (image) and deploy new workstations, and configure/ deploy new printers and digital sendersBuild software packages, support and troubleshoot PDQ
- Deploy for inventory and application delivery solutionsPerform application delivery and patching capabilities using a combination of Microsoft WSUS and PDQ Deploy products
- Act as part of the team responsible for performing rekey, inventory, ana general account management of the project's cryptographic account
- Document all new changes introduced to the system, and keep existing documentation current
- Being able to lift 50 lbs (responsibilities sometimes include printer installations)
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active Top Secret/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph US Government Security Clearance
- 11 years of direct experience in Systems Administration supporting Windows.
- Strong verbal communication and documentation skills and attention to detail
- Lead coordinator and communicator for site outages
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- System Administration experience supporting a Windows platform environment with the following core Microsoft Windows platforms, services and tools: Windows 10/11 DesktopWindows 2016/2019 ServerDNS, DFS, and DHCPExchange w/OutlookActive DirectoryGroup PolicyWindows Server Update Services (WSUS)
- Cryptographic support: configuring and installing KG device and performing rekey operations

- Shared Responsibility of Hardware Control Officer- ability to utilize database (GENESIS) and identify and account for any accountable property, create asset records, perform annual inventory, retain files and signatures, and keep track of loaned accountable property.
