Senior Manager, Business Analysis
Position Overview
The Senior Manager of Business Analysis will oversee a team of Business Analysts, ensuring the successful delivery of data-driven projects across Kaseya. Reporting to the Director of Analytics or VP of Product, you will strategize on high-level initiatives, mentor analysts, and drive alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
In this role, you will:
- Lead BA Team: Manage hiring, training, and development of Business Analysts to build a high-performing team.
- Strategic Project Oversight: Align BA efforts with organizational objectives, prioritizing projects that offer the highest impact.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executives and functional leaders to identify critical business challenges that require data solutions.
- Process Improvement: Define and refine frameworks, methodologies, and best practices for business analysis, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Monitor Project Lifecycle: Ensure timely and on-budget delivery by guiding requirement-gathering, solution design, and user acceptance testing across multiple projects.
- Risk and Issue Management: Anticipate potential obstacles, proactively develop mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues when necessary.
- Performance Reporting: Establish KPIs for BA activities, track performance, and communicate results to senior leadership.
- Drive Culture of Collaboration: Foster a strong partnership between the Business Analysis function, Data Team, and other departments.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role, with 2+ years of team leadership/management experience.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics, reporting platforms, and data governance principles.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-growth environment and drive continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, requirement-gathering tools, and project management software.
- Experience with budget and resource planning is a plus.
