Step into the role of Senior FP&A Analyst and bring your financial + data modelling expertise to new heights! In this key position, you'll spearhead advanced financial analysis, contribute to strategic decision-making, and present comprehensive reports to leadership. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess performance, guide budgeting, forecast and close processes, and ensure financial excellence. Responsibilities:
- Own the preparation and presentation of weekly/monthly reporting packages, including detailed Budget vs. Actual (BvA) analyses, providing insights across Finance and Engineering teams
- Forecast Engineering investments, operating and capital expenditures, and provide analyses of quarterly variances to forecasts with risks and opportunities
- Identification and implementation of meaningful new analyses and recommendations for cost savings and process improvement considering business drivers
- Financial impact simulations for various market scenarios supporting investments
- Financial modelling of potential business opportunities (strategic investments, new products, mergers and acquisitions)
- Supporting Annual planning and multi-year financial plan through trend analysis and sensitivity modeling
- Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, simplification and reporting enhancements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (an MBA is a plus)
- Ideally 5-7 years of professional experience, preferably in a similar role (e.g. Financial Planning and Analysis, Corporate Finance)
- Strong business judgment with ability to think strategically and plan effectively; be hands on, accurate, with attention to details and results oriented. Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to comfortably interact with various business partners and senior management
- Ability to independently execute on priorities, identify roadblocks and solutions
- Intellectual curiosity, and a passion for continuous improvement
Technology
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and working with data
- Good understanding of PowerBI, Tableau or other BI software
- Preferably understanding of SaaS/Technology portfolio
- Preferably knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
