Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Underwriter to support the underwriting process across various commercial insurance lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial account set-up and review for endorsements, renewals, and new business across multiple insurance lines
• Prepare initial file work-up on renewals and new business, ensuring submission requirements are met and communicating with brokers
• Process bind requests, ensure timely issuance of policies, and maintain accurate documentation of broker communication

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a multi-line commercial insurance environment or equivalent relevant experience
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload with minimal supervision
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• PC literate with basic to intermediate skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Strong documentation skills
