Lab Manager (Industrial Robotics and Automation)

Role
The Lab Manager will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for our engineering and research teams. This position requires strong organizational skills, experience in inventory management, and the ability to work effectively with vendors and suppliers. Experience with industrial equipment, while not required, is a plus.

- You help build and maintain a highly efficient working environment and team culture.
- You ensure and efficient resource flow: By expertly managing shipping, receiving, and inventory, this role guarantees that the necessary mechanical and electrical components are readily available when needed. This streamlined process minimizes delays in the lab, allowing the engineering and build teams to focus on innovation and the rapid development
- You contribute to timely project completion and customer deliveries: Efficient logistics and on-site installation support directly impact the speed at which your company can complete projects and deliver solutions to our customers.
- You play an essential role in running operations at our lab and office buildings.
Skills you will need to be successful
- Proven experience in a lab management or similar role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems.
- Experience working with industrial equipment
Skills that will differentiate your candidacy
- Previous experience working in the area of industrial robotics and automation
- OSHA forklift certification
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (docs, sheets, etc.)
- Knowledge of lab safety regulations and procedures (ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06, etc)
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $128,000 - $136,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
