Senior Engineer II, Delivery Technology

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to work with our clients to implement and operate the data flows that span our business and drive our SaaS Solutions that enable Deposit, Lending and Marketing Analytics and Optimization.  Our industry-leading solutions enable banks to optimize product and marketing investments and customer engagement to improve Customer Lifetime Value for Banks and their Consumer and Business Customers. This position will work closely with Curinos Client and Technical Success functions to integrate clients onto the platform. This entails evaluating customer data capabilities and architecture against Curinos platform capabilities and designing and implementing scalable and standardized integration solutions. This role is also involved in the ongoing operational excellence of clients on our platforms. This includes, but is not limited to; accurate data ingestion, developing and maintaining data transformation pipeline components, building metric computers using efficient algorithms, creating custom outbound data interfaces, and integration with client systems as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL data pipelines to handle large volumes of data
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize the performance of these ETL processes on an ongoing basis.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in ETL, data exchange APIs and data mapping and cleansing technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across all aspects of the platform.
• Collaborate with team and mentor junior engineers.
• Provide business hour production support as part of an on-call rotation.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint grooming and other agile activities.

Base salary range is $130,000 to $160,000 (plus bonus)

Desired Skills & Expertise:

Candidates should have the following background, skills, and qualities:

• Experience with contemporary big data stacks and technologies, such as SSIS, dbt, HDFS, Spark, and Databricks.
• Expertise across several programming languages and toolsets, including Scala/Python, SQL, Linux Shell Scripting
• Solid understanding of data, data structures and algorithms
• 5+ years of experience with big data platforms
• Experience with production support.
• Experience with 3rd party marketing and CRM clouds (such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM) strongly desired.
• Disciplined self-starter with willingness to learn and evolve
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Team player and ability to work well with others in an intellectually challenging environment
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience working with external stakeholders on joint solutions
