As a Sr. Content Strategist (Technology), you are responsible for developing content strategy and overseeing content execution for Industry Dive’s content marketing line of business – studioID. You are responsible for managing and advancing our clients’ content marketing programs and projects, primarily (but not exclusively) in areas related to cybersecurity, the CIO role, and related subjects.
In addition to your extensive experience in content marketing, you should also be a creative and strategic thinker and have a keen eye for process. The services you will be overseeing range from written editorial work to strategy deliverables to webinars – and beyond! You will serve as the primary success owner for assigned customers, but will collaborate closely with the content director and program manager to oversee and ultimately advance client partnerships through great content and advisory services. This role can be remote or report to our Washington, D.C., or New York City offices.

What You'll Do
Own the successful delivery of content services
Act as the designated point of contact for clients, responding to and managing client requests
Gain a deep understanding of who our clients are and their overall marketing goals
Orchestrate projects such as playbooks, promoted stories, webinars, surveys from inception to completion; serve as main strategic and project management lead
Pitch original content topics and manage editorial calendars
Oversee the editorial process within Welcome content marketing platform
Collaborate closely with your fellow strategists, the program management team and content director to manage client expectations and resolve escalated client issues
Manage freelance writers and editors
Track client budgets and assess risk and opportunities
Lead marketing strategy workshops and quarterly business reviews; develop customer roadmaps; promote expansion of services
Deliver operational metrics and overall business results to assigned clients
Great communication skills over Zoom, in person, and via email; comfort within a very client-facing role
Comprehensive knowledge and passion for all things editorial; experience ideating and editing written content
Experience producing content that covers technology subjects such as IT services, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, “big data,” and networking.
Experience producing other content formats such as podcasts, virtual events, webinars, video and more
Demonstrated ability to interpret client and first-party analytics, along with situational SEO best practices, and incorporate those data points into content and campaign suggestions
Demonstrated ability to uncover new revenue opportunities and identify risks
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, multitask, and work within tight deadlines
Comprehensive understanding of all the principles of content marketing
Work well on a team but also be able to take initiative on independent projects
Proven track record managing clients, along with their account retention and growth
Experience with strategic thinking and complex decision making
The salary for this role is 95000 - 100500 depending on experience.
