We are responsible for various software, each presenting its challenges. We seek a detail-oriented Lead or Senior Lead QA Engineer to join the Data Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation, focusing on automation, while being proactive, open to feedback, sharing knowledge, and carrying a positive can-do attitude.

As a Lead/Senior Software Engineer QA, you will be responsible for:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Oversee the creation and execution of automatic tests and unit tests by the development team and junior QA engineers.
• Develop test frameworks for functional and non-functional testing.
• Review requirements & specifications and come up with test strategies.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Conduct periodic ad hoc reviews to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

Required competence:

• Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
• Experience with test planning, test case creation, and test execution.
• Experience in writing UI testing scripts (i.e, using Selenium, Cypress)
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A willingness to learn new skills (i.e., DevOps, Security testing, etc.)

Good to have skills (Optional)

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Used AI tools for QA work
• Experience in writing Performance testing scripts (i.e, using JMeter)
• Security Testing

Qualifications

A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
