Position Overview
i5 Technology Group is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our dynamic team in the execution of various IT projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting project managers in coordinating all aspects of project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery within the established scope and budget. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure that project activities and milestones are achieved.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes to track action items.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure adherence to established schedules.
- Gather and compile project status reports and provide timely updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Assist in risk management by identifying potential project risks and collaborating with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
- Support the preparation and submissions of project documentation and deliverables, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Perform administrative tasks related to project coordination, including handling correspondence, filing documents, and maintaining project files.
- Utilize project management software to track progress and update project information.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or a related role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the IT industry or familiarity with IT project management.
- Experience with SharePoint or Microsoft technology-related projects a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working towards it is a plus.
