Role Summary

As the Public Sector Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for fostering lock-step collaboration with the North American Federal, State & Local Public Sector Sales teams. This role will lead the development and execution of integrated demand generation, field event, digital and Sales Plays that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue growth for the Hyperscience Public Sector team. You will be responsible for collaborating across teams to create and execute multi-channel programs targeting federal, state and local government customer segments at all stages of the buyer journey. This role is an individual contributor and ideal for a seasoned marketing professional who thrives on data, creativity, collaboration, and delivering measurable results.


Responsibilities
  • Campaign Strategy & Planning
  • Create & execute the annual integrated campaign & sales play strategy, ensuring alignment with company revenue goals for the public sector (federal, state & local government).
  • Define campaign objectives, KPIs, and key messages to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across multiple buyer personas, use cases and target industry verticals.
  • Prioritize and allocate resources across campaigns to ensure maximum impact, balancing quick wins with long-term brand-building initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, product marketing, content, and digital teams to ensure that all campaigns are customer-centric, value-driven, and tailored to specific stages of the buyer journey.
  • Multi-Channel Campaign Execution
  • Develop and manage integrated campaigns across multiple channels, including email marketing, digital advertising, social media, content syndication, SDR outbound, ABM, and webinars and local field events (primarily D.C.).
  • Oversee the creation of campaign assets such as landing pages, email sequences, digital ads, and content in partnership with creative and content teams.
  • Coordinate omnichannel execution to maintain consistency across platforms, ensuring that messaging and user experience align seamlessly with the campaign theme and company branding.
  • Deploy Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies in collaboration with the sales team to personalize outreach and prioritize high-value accounts.
  • Own the framework for defining and executing Sales Plays in collaboration with Sales, CSM and SDR leadership. 
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (CTR, MQLs, SQLs, conversions, pipeline influence) to measure ROI and inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Optimize campaigns continuously by using A/B testing, multivariate testing, and audience segmentation to improve targeting, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting to the VP of Growth, along with insights and recommendations for improvement and future planning.
  • Leverage customer insights and market trends to refine and adjust campaign strategies for greater impact, especially for key accounts and target industries.
  • Leadership
  • Manage the relationship between the Public Sector  sales teams and marketing and collaborate to drive aspirational strategy that captures global demand for our suite of products and services.
  • Leverage data from the analytics teams to assess campaign performance to guide the channel mix, content and timing of future integrated campaigns.
  • Communicate performance and opportunities across stakeholders organization-wide to inform and improve on an ongoing cadence. 
  • Budget Management & Forecasting
  • Develop and manage campaign budgets effectively, allocating resources based on anticipated ROI and strategic priority.
  • Forecast and track campaign expenses, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing budget and company financial goals.
  • Identify cost-effective campaign tactics and tools that deliver high impact without over/underspending.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations, or a related field.
  • Proven 7+ years of experience in demand generation marketing driving $50M+ pipeline/yr.
  • 2-3 years of public sector or global experience in Demand Generation.
  • Intermediate experience with Hubspot and Salesforce is required.
  • Proven track record of driving successful go-to-market strategies, managing integrated campaigns that drive incremental revenue.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Travel to the DMV (Washington D.C.) area as needed to interlock with the Public Sector team and lead on-the-ground events.


The target base compensation range for this role: $130,000 - $195,000.  Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individuals skills, experience, qualifications, geographical location, and our business needs and objectives.  Our overall compensation packages include base salary, equity and the benefits and perks listed below.
