The People Ops team at HUMAN is passionate about the Humans we hire to protect the internet. As partners to all areas of the business, we work to empower every team to do the best work while making HUMAN one of the best places to work.


We’re looking for a People Operations Coordinator to be responsible for supporting the operations, design, development, delivery, and execution of people operations initiatives.


What you'll do:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and general inquiries.
  • Support core operational processes and workflows throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, data management, and compliance.
  • Oversee our compliance training platform and lead the company-wide launch of mandatory training, including harassment prevention.
  • Conduct monthly audits—or as needed—for compliance and data accuracy.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support culture, employee experience and training  initiatives.
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned to support the People Operations team.


Who you are:
  • Eager to grow in your career, with 1-2 years of relevant experience in HR or People Operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR operational processes and systems (BambooHR, ADP, Ashby, Ethena, etc) is preferred.
  • Clear and confident communicator, both in writing and verbally.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy and follow-through.
  • Excellent time management skills and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Discreet in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and a proactive mindset.
  • NY Metro area preferred, with the ability to work in-office on a hybrid schedule as needed.


The base pay range for this position is $60,000- $80,000 which can include additional on-target bonus and/or incentives. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
