Caregiver CNA/NA - 500 dollar hire bonus, FT 22/ hour, Company Car

Ho'okele Home Care is a leading provider of in-home care services and proud to receive the 2024 Home Care Pulse Award for Employer of Choice. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Nursing Assistants (NA) to join our AWESOME team of Vivia Caregivers on Maui. We aim to help clients maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

In this role, you will be assigned 2 "neighborhoods" to help multiple clients with task based needs.

Additionally, we provide a company car to ensure that you can easily travel to and from your clients' homes. Our Vivia Assistants are CNAs and NAs who:

• Earn $22 PER HOUR*
• Work FULL TIME
• Work 40 HOURS weekly**
• Have STEADY SCHEDULES
• Receive a COMPANY CAR
• Work DESIGNATED NEIGHBORHOOD(S)
• Work with a CONSISTENT GROUP OF CLIENTS
• WORK CLOSELY and are SUPPORTED by a designated RN team leader and scheduler.
• Receive up to a $500 SIGNING BONUS.

*Vivia Assistants earn $21/hour during the 90 day probationary period during which orientation and on the job training takes place and then increases to $22/hour after successful completion of that probationary period.

** Except during some holidays

Responsibilities May Include:

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide medication reminders and monitor vital signs
• Document and report any changes in clients' condition to the care team
• Assist clients with meal planning, preparation, and feeding, according to their dietary needs and preferences
• Help clients with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA)
• Current Valid Driver's License and current, clean Drivers abstract
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks, and provide excellent customer service.
• Basic CPR and First-Aid Certification (No Online CPR)
• Health Clearance / Physical Exam (within a year)
• Proof of 2-Step and current TB Clearance (within a year)
• Comfortable with technology

• High School Diploma or equivalent
