We are looking for a passionate and experienced BDR Team Lead to help lead and mentor our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in driving growth for our SaaS business in the food and beverage industry. As a BDR Team Lead, you will be responsible for setting goals, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the team meets its targets. This is a key leadership role where you’ll be guiding the team, developing outreach strategies, and supporting the overall sales pipeline.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BDRs, providing coaching and support to help them succeed.
- Develop and implement effective outbound and inbound sales strategies to generate qualified leads.
- Set performance goals, monitor key metrics, and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve prospecting and outreach techniques.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and increase conversion rates.
- Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track, analyze, and report on team performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process optimizations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide regular updates on team performance, offering actionable insights to senior management.
- 5+ years in business development or sales
- 2+ years in BDR/sales team leadership or coaching
- BDR experience required; food & beverage industry preferred
- Culinary background is a plus
- Fluent in English (C+ level or native)
- Skilled in cold calling, email marketing, and social selling
- Strong in problem-solving, analysis, and organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Resilient, persistent, and well-organized
- Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Based in Cancún, Mexico
