Health Analytics Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Analytics Expert to analyze healthcare data and generate actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analyses on clinical, EMR, and engagement data to evaluate program effectiveness across chronic conditions
• Design and maintain client reports tracking outcomes, utilization, cost of care, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Identify population health trends and opportunities for quality improvement or intervention design

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, or related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, ideally with Health Plans or Insurance Carriers
• Proficiency in SQL, statistical and modeling tools (Python and/or R), and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific tools & standards such as claims data platforms and EHR/EMR
• Strong understanding of clinical and financial metrics, as well as program and engagement metrics
