Facilities Support Specialist - Entry Level

HCI is a leading multi-unit management company based in Manhattan, Kansas.  HCI's largest brand is Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers franchises with 40+ locations throughout the Midwest, Texas, and East Coast. HCI manages three locally owned and operated restaurants in Manhattan and Junction City and offers full-service catering to the central Kansas area.  HCI recently added Booth Creek Wagyu, Meatworks of Kansas processing plant in Riley, KS, and 4 Booth Creek Wagyu Retail stores in Manhattan, Wichita and the KC area.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Entry Level - Facilities Support Specialist to join our Construction and Facilities team. This is a full-time, entry level office-based role that supports maintenance and facilities operations across multiple states by coordinating vendors, scheduling services, and ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.

• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using maintenance planning and scheduling software.
• Good knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
• Familiarity with maintenance equipment and supplies procurement processes
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Assist store managers in multiple states by connecting them with repair technicians or other vendors for various projects.
• Ensuring that all projects are driven to completion. 
• Maintaining accurate records of projects.
• Procuring necessary supplies online and equipment from our vendors.

Salary Range:

• $45,000 -  $50,000 a year
