Job Title: Appointment Setter – Industrial Sales

Position Summary:
The Appointment Setter will be responsible for initiating contact with potential industrial clients, identifying decision-makers (Operations Managers, Plant Managers, HR leaders), generating qualified leads, and setting up meetings for the Sales Manager. This is a key business development role requiring strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to uncover opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Prospecting:
Proactively reach out to potential clients via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to introduce our services. - Lead Generation:
Research and build a pipeline of industrial prospects, including manufacturing plants, logistics facilities, and warehouse operations. - Qualification:
Identify and engage the right decision-makers (Operations or HR leaders). Qualify prospects based on need, size, urgency, and alignment with our services. - Appointment Scheduling:
Set up high-quality meetings for the Sales Manager that have a strong likelihood of converting into new business. - CRM Management:
Track all activity in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) with accurate notes, contact information, and follow-up tasks. - Collaboration:
Work closely with the Sales Manager to understand feedback on scheduled appointments and adjust targeting as needed. - Continuous Improvement:
Analyze success rates and adjust messaging and targeting for better results over time.

Ideal Candidate:
- 1+ years in an outbound sales, recruiting, or appointment setting role (industrial staffing or B2B preferred)
- Comfortable speaking with mid-level to senior decision-makers in Operations and HR
- Must be able to read and write English
- Driven, coachable, and resilient with a hunter mentality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using CRMs and prospecting tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- Highly organized and metrics-focused
- Must have own equipment including but limited to phone, computer, highspeed internet.
