Founding Engineer

As a founding engineer, you'll be

  • Building across the full stack and help shape product direction.

  • Launching new features, speaking directly with customers to gather feedback, iterating quickly.

  • Owning parts of the product end-to-end.

You’ll be successful in this role if you…

  • Are a relentlessly resourceful engineer with experience building real-world applications, with a high bar for quality.

    • If you’ve personally built something people use, years of experience is basically irrelevant.

  • Can go from 0 to 1 building full stack applications.

  • Care deeply about those who use what you build.

  • Enjoy learning and working in a very fast-paced environment.

Bonus points

  • Prior experience as a founder or founding engineer.

  • Strong sense of product taste.

  • Have built LLM-powered products.

  • Experience with Typescript, React, TailwindCSS, Python, Redux.

We want to avoid having someone who only touches one part of the codebase (ex: "I only do backend"). Some people obviously have proficiencies but in general, we all work full stack and are willing to learn anything to make things work.

Compensation

Flexible and competitive.
