Position Overview:

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant/Surgical Coordinator to join a dynamic multi-specialty facility in the Bronx, NY. This role combines clinical support with surgical coordination, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Support:

• Assist providers with patient intake, vitals, and minor procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure sterilization of instruments.
• Surgical Coordination:
• Schedule surgeries, pre-op appointments, and follow-ups.
• Liaise between patients, surgeons, and insurance providers.
• Maintain accurate surgical records and consent forms.
• Administrative Duties:
• Manage patient records, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Provide bilingual patient education on pre/post-operative care.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Licensure: None required, but certification (e.g., CMA, RMA) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (multi-specialty or surgical setting preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems, appointment scheduling, and clinical procedures (e.g., vitals, phlebotomy).
• Soft Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
