Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed School Clinician (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT) to support adolescents and their families in a school-based mental health program in the Bronx, NY. This full-time, 10-month position offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact through therapeutic services in a dynamic, youth-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 100% of time to direct clinical services in a school or clinical setting
- Conduct DSM diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy using Evidence-Based Practices (EBP)
- Facilitate group sessions and psychoeducation for adolescents and families
- Participate in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDT) meetings
- Collaborate with attending psychiatrists and mental health specialists on treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and billing

Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Creative Arts Therapy
Licensure:
- Active NYS license (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT required)
- Eligible for NYS Central Registry (Child Abuse) & Justice Center clearance
Experience:
- 5+ years providing clinical services in behavioral health settings
- Strong background in working with adolescents and families
- Familiarity with co-occurring disorders and chemical dependency treatment
