Director, Content Marketing

Greenhouse is looking for a Director, Content Marketing to join our team!

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in building and leading a high-performing content marketing function that directly contributes to Greenhouse's revenue growth and brand recognition. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy, managing the content team, and ensuring the creation of impactful content that resonates with our target audience across all stages of the customer journey. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and will collaborate closely with various teams, including Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute content strategy aligned with business goals – across buyer personas and the buying journey
  • Manage an internal team and agency resources to deliver on business goals through content and social media programs
  • Implement content processes for efficient and effective content creation
  • Lead and develop the content marketing team
  • Oversee full-funnel content creation for key personas across various formats and channels
  • Effectively manage and collaborate with stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and the Leadership team
  • Establish, track and report on content KPIs to demonstrate business impact
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Manage the content budget and resources.
  • Build relationships with external content partners.

You should have

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, specifically in Enterprise content marketing
  • Previous experience managing direct reports
  • A track record of developing and implementing content strategies that leverage diverse formats to engage key personas throughout the buyer journey – contributing to business and brand growth
  • Ability to establish content KPIs and performance tracking to report on content impact 
  • Strategic and results-oriented mindset
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • SaaS experience, a plus
  • HR Tech experience, a strong preference

The national pay range for this role is $183,300 - $231,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.

The anticipated closing date for this role is May 7, 2025.
