Givens Estates is looking for a full-time Life Enrichment Associate to join our Health Services team! Our philosophy of vibrant aging is built on the belief that staying active and engaged improves one’s quality of life. As the Life Enrichment Associate, you will collaborate with the Life Enrichment Manager to oversee holistic wellness programs across our campus, with a focus on the seven dimensions of wellness: emotional, vocational, physical, spiritual, intellectual, social, and environmental. You’ll ensure that residents of Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living have access to engaging and diverse programs that enhance their overall well-being.

What you’ll do:

• Promote, coach, teach, and facilitate appropriate scheduled life enrichment programs in groups or individual projects
• Assist with documenting needs and preferences of residents to create person centered care plans 
• Drive vehicles as necessary to initiate and promote life enrichment both within facility and outside the facility, as weather permits
• Develop and coordinate engaging wellness programs in collaboration with the Life Enrichment Manager and other Givens departments
• Assist with assessing needs and preferences of residents to create person centered care plans
• Help with the production of the weekly “Gazette” newsletter and contribute content as needed
• Lead group or individual life enrichment programs and support resident interest groups
• Organize off-campus events and overnight trips, managing transportation logistics

What you’ll need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Creativity and passion for planning diverse, engaging events and programs
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with computers and software like EMR systems and Microsoft Office
• A valid NC Driver’s License and a clean driving record

Compensation is $19.00 - $21.50 per hour, based on experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package!
