About the Role
Gateway.fm is looking for a Sales Specialist to contribute to the growth of permissionless, open, and decentralized systems. This role is an exciting opportunity to work in the Web3 industry, leveraging our engineering expertise to drive blockchain ecosystem adoption and expand our security audits, formal verification, and real-time monitoring services.
Responsibilities
As a key part of the Commercial team, you will focus on generating new business opportunities, closing deals, and maintaining long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-oriented, and has a strong understanding of Web3 sales dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new sales opportunities within Web3.
- Scope, nurture, and close business deals effectively.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients in blockchain ecosystems.
- Conduct market research to engage and onboard potential clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Work with marketing teams to execute lead-generation campaigns.
- Develop compelling sales pitches, strategies, and presentations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical teams, account management, business development and commercials to refine value propositions and service offerings.
- Track and manage sales metrics to ensure consistent growth.
- Ensure a process-focused and diligent approach to sales execution.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in Web3.
- Proven track record in sales with measurable success.
- Experience selling blockchain-related products is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Established network within Web3 (Ethereum, L2s, ZKP, etc.).
- Experience working with marketing teams to drive lead generation.
- Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions.
- Solid understanding of blockchain technology and the decentralized ecosystem.
- Process-driven and diligent in executing sales strategies.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and communicate market dynamics.
- Data-driven mindset with knowledge of key sales, operational and business metrics.
