Functional Safety Verification Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Functional Safety Design Verification Engineer to validate safety-critical IP and SoC designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional safety verification at IP/SoC level using tools like Z01X
• Run and analyze fault injection campaigns; classify outcomes per ISO 26262 or similar standards
• Collaborate with architects and design teams to debug faults and improve coverage

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of SoC/ASIC DV experience, with 2+ years focused on functional safety verification
• Hands-on experience with fault injection tools (e.g., Z01X, Tessent Safety)
• Deep understanding of fault modeling and ISO 26262 (ASIL targets)
• Strong skills in SystemVerilog/UVM and debugging RTL
• Background in automotive, robotics, compute, or AI hardware
