Your New Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support professional to provide front-line technical support and enhance IT operations. This role involves assisting employees with Level 1 IT issues related to hardware, software, and networks. 

Reporting to the IT Operations Engineer, the IT Support will collaborate with the People & Culture team to ensure smooth onboarding and IT experiences. Additionally, they will contribute to IT projects, process improvements, and compliance with security and organisational policies.

Your Day to Day

• Provide Level 1 IT support for employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining POS systems (hardware and software) at our retail locations.
• Setting up and maintaining network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
• Ensure timely resolution of technical issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams as needed.
• Support the onboarding and off boarding by setting up user accounts, devices, and permissions.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT security best practices to protect company data and systems.
• Work closely with the IT Operations Engineer to execute IT projects, system upgrades, and process improvements.
• Monitor and maintain IT support documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency in troubleshooting procedures.
• Any additional tasks assigned by the manager.

What You Need

• Previous experience in an IT support role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, macOS, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Google Workspace, Office 365, and other enterprise IT tools. NetSuite is preferred but not required.
• Experience managing IT assets, user accounts, and security configurations.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as VPNs, firewalls, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience working within IT compliance and security frameworks is a plus.
